Job Responsibilities
As a DevOps Engineer at our organization, you will:
- Manage and automate deployments using Kubernetes and Docker.
- Utilize cloud services like AWS and GCP for resource management and scaling.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth and efficient development workflows.
- Enforce best practices for version control using Git.
- Monitor system health, performance, and security with tools like Datadog.
- Plan and execute roll-back strategies for code deployments.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and management teams to meet deployment deliverables.
Required Skills and Experience
- Kubernetes (k8s) & Docker: Solid understanding of container orchestration and containerization.
- AWS & GCP: Proficiency in using cloud services for deploying, monitoring, and managing applications.
- Version Control: Hands-on experience with Git or other version control systems.
- Monitoring: Experience with system data monitoring using tools like Datadog or similar.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot issues across the entire stack.
Bonus Points for:
- Scripting skills in languages like Python, Bash, or Shell.
- Experience in managing databases, both relational and NoSQL.
